The difference between Aluminum T6 and T4

T6 is artificial aging after quenching, basically the 6061 need more than 200 degrees for about 4 hours, T4 is natural aging after quenching , and in air for a period of time. Because aging's purpose tive is to make the strength become better, generally T6's price and strength will be higher than that of T4!
